Former Ravenshoe fire captain Rob Doyle has spent decades serving the people of his community. Known for his calm presence in a crisis and unwavering dedication, Rob has been a first responder, a volunteer, and a quiet local hero.

Now, Rob is facing a deeply personal crisis — and he needs our support.

A day before his birthday, and while undergoing treatment for cancer, Rob’s home was tragically destroyed by fire. He lost everything.

It’s a devastating blow made even harder by the timing — physically and emotionally. Rob has always been the one to step up when others needed help. Whether through his work with Queensland Fire and Emergency Services or his presence in the community, he has given tirelessly without expecting anything in return.

Today, we have the chance to give something back.

This fundraiser, launched by Ravenshoe locals Nicola Baker, Nicole Barr and Mellissa Keune aims to help Rob rebuild his life — a sanction has been applied for to fundraiser for Rob Doyle, and a special bank account solely for this purpose has been set up.
